Raven is a Senior Associate of Marketing & Communications at SecondMuse. In this role, she oversees communication strategies for programs including For ClimateTech, SecondMuse Capital, and The Earth Observing Dashboard Hackathon—a global initiative in partnership with Booz Allen Hamilton, NASA Earth, the European Space Agency, and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency. Raven has also led the communications strategy for Rooted and Rising, an accelerator designed to uplift young, Black Los Angeles-based creators by enhancing their knowledge of mental health and digital creativity.

Raven believes in impactful intention setting. With a background in advocacy, she seeks solutions for equal justice across all classes, cultures, and communities. Passionate about racial justice and equity, Raven is committed to transforming lives for the greater good.

Before joining SecondMuse, Raven was the Digital Communications Manager for the Virginia Beach Community Development Corporation and Second Act Communities in Virginia Beach, Virginia. There, she focused on understanding and addressing the needs of homeless veterans, enhancing community engagement, and providing impactful tools and resources.

Raven holds a Bachelor of Arts from Hampton University and is a proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. In her free time, Raven enjoys quality moments with her family and her German Shepherd, Apollo and serving at her church. She practices fitness, enjoys memoirs written by her favorite authors, stays updated on the latest music releases, and writes about the culture.
