About INDRA
Indra works with the Future Economy Lab, leading the research process of each lab alongside her talented team members.
In addition to fostering inclusive and resilient economies, Indra is passionate about community-driven, social impact innovations that holistically address communities’ needs and are ultimately designed by the communities themselves. As a Canadian citizen, born and raised in the Cayman Islands to parents with Southeast Indian heritage, Indra has always had a curiosity to explore the world, learn about cultures, and challenge her perspectives.
She is a trained international development professional who marries her human-centered design principles gained from over seven years of work in the architectural and building industry with over three years of cross-cultural, business development research.
Indra holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation and has applied critical-thinking techniques to projects across multiple disciplines, sectors, and industries in Canada, Haiti, Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania, and the United States.
